2. These terms
These terms apply to consumer purchases made through the Sanctue website. They do not remove or limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law.
Please read these terms, the Privacy Policy, Shipping and Delivery Policy, and Returns and Refunds Policy before ordering.
3. Products and descriptions
Sanctue takes reasonable care to describe and display products accurately. Colours, packaging and appearance may vary slightly because of photography, screens, supplier changes or handmade characteristics.
Customers should review the product description, ingredients, warnings, size and use instructions before ordering. Product information does not constitute medical advice.
4. Eligibility and customer responsibility
You must provide complete and accurate billing, delivery and contact information. You are responsible for checking the order details before payment and for following all product instructions and warnings.
5. Orders and contract formation
Placing an order is an offer to buy the selected products. An automatic order acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted.
The contract is formed when Sanctue sends an acceptance or dispatch confirmation, or otherwise clearly confirms that the order will be fulfilled.
Sanctue may refuse or cancel an order before acceptance where, for example, a product is unavailable, information is incorrect, payment is not authorised, fraud is suspected or an obvious pricing error has occurred. Any payment taken for a cancelled order will be refunded.
6. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. The checkout will show the product total, applicable delivery charges, discounts and final amount before the order is placed.
CONFIRM WHETHER THE DISPLAYED PRICES INCLUDE VAT AND UPDATE THIS SENTENCE
Payment is processed through the payment methods displayed at checkout. The final policy should name the payment providers once they are configured.
7. Delivery
Available destinations, delivery services, charges and estimated times are shown on the website or at checkout. Please see the Shipping and Delivery Policy for more information.
Unless a different period is agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is made.
Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or a person identified by you to receive them.
8. Cancellation and returns
For most online purchases, consumers may cancel within 14 days after delivery without giving a reason. After notifying Sanctue, the goods normally need to be returned within a further 14 days.
Exceptions may apply, including to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken, where the legal conditions for that exception are met.
The Returns and Refunds Policy explains the process, exclusions and refund timing.
9. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Contact Sanctue promptly if an item arrives damaged, is incorrect or appears faulty. Your legal rights are not affected by the cancellation policy or any goodwill policy.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Sanctue is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
11. Events outside reasonable control
Sanctue is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, but will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and keep affected customers informed.
12. Website use and intellectual property
Website content, branding, photographs and designs may not be copied, republished or commercially used without permission, except where the law allows.
The website must not be used to introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with operation or commit unlawful activity.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the part of the United Kingdom where the business is established. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available to them under applicable law.
CONFIRM WHETHER THE BUSINESS IS ESTABLISHED IN ENGLAND AND WALES, THEN REPLACE THIS PARAGRAPH WITH THE FINAL JURISDICTION WORDING
14. Changes to these terms
Sanctue may update these terms for future orders. The terms applying to an order are those made available when that order was placed.
