Sanctuè — A Sanctuary for Stillness

More than a wellbeing service — a sanctuary experience.

Through immersive sound, grounding practices and restorative rituals, Sanctuè creates space for those who feel overwhelmed, overstimulated or simply in need of stillness to pause, soften and reconnect with themselves.

At its core, Sanctuè stands for self-worth, body awareness and the quiet intelligence of the nervous system — encouraging individuals to notice what their body is communicating and respond with greater care and compassion.

Each sound experience is thoughtfully curated to support deep rest and nervous system regulation while honouring individual sensory needs. Grounded in emotional safety and gentle, personalised care, Sanctuè invites clients away from the demands of constant doing and towards a quieter state of presence, ease and connection.

01

Self-worth

Rest is treated as something meaningful and necessary, not something that has to be earned.

02

Body awareness

Space to notice internal cues with more curiosity, care and compassion.

03

Sensory care

Experiences are thoughtfully shaped around emotional safety and individual sensory needs.

A place to pause. A place to soften. A place to return to yourself.

Why Sanctuè exists

Born from burnout, shaped by more than two decades of care.

I am Andrea, an IPHM-accredited sound healing therapist, qualified teacher and creator of Sanctuè, a restorative wellbeing practice centred around sound, stillness and nervous system support.

Sanctuè was born from my own experience of burnout. After more than 20 years in education, much of it spent supporting neurodivergent children and those with complex sensory and communication needs, I reached a point where the emotional and physical demands of my career had begun to overwhelm my own nervous system.

During a sabbatical from teaching, I began returning more intentionally to my singing bowls. I noticed how profoundly rested and calm I felt after spending time immersed in sound. Slowly, moments of stillness began replacing the constant sense of urgency I had become accustomed to.

Sound became part of a wider journey back to feeling more rested, regulated and connected to myself. As I began sharing these practices with family, friends and others around me, I saw how creating space for sound and stillness could offer something increasingly rare: permission to stop.

01

Education & SEND

More than two decades in education, including extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children and people with complex sensory and communication needs.

02

Returning to sound

A sabbatical created space to reconnect with singing bowls, stillness and the restorative effect of stepping out of constant urgency.

03

Creating Sanctuè

Sanctuè emerged as a place to shelter from everyday noise through immersive sound, guided meditation and reflective journalling practices.

Andrea's background in education and SEND informs a sensory-led, trauma-aware and highly attuned approach to wellbeing. Each experience is created with care for individual sensory needs, using immersive soundscapes to invite deep rest, support somatic reconnection and gently guide clients back towards stillness.

At its heart, Sanctuè exists to create a space where people can feel safe enough to soften, unwind and simply be.
